Places for People participated in the SHIFFT project (Sustainable Heating Implementation of Fossil Free Technologies), an EU funded project which aimed to promote the use of more environmentally friendly heating systems.
Over £500,000 was invested into our site in various technologies, including air source heat pumps, Sunamp heat storage technology and extensive photo-voltaic solar panels.
