For the second year running, Places for People has officially been named one of the UK's Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing (2023) by Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture.
The accolade highlights organisations that are committed to supporting colleague wellbeing through tailored policies and practices that encourage employees to be their best unique selves. Something that we are dedicated to doing at Places for People.
Based on our feedback
Great Place to Work's culture experts analysed thousands of employee surveys, assessing people's holistic experiences of wellbeing at work to determine the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing list. The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfillment, job satisfaction, psychological safety, and financial security.
The analysts also assessed how well Places for People was able to deliver consistency in their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
Making wellbeing a priority
Commenting on making the list for the second time, Tom Arey, Head of Talent and Development at Places for People said:
“This is a fantastic achievement in being recognised for putting colleague wellbeing at the heart of Places for People. Wellbeing continues to be a key priority for us all in nurturing a happy working environment for our People. We still have a way to go but this is a big step on our journey to 85% engagement.”
