Places for People confirms Judy Hardy as new Chief Risk Officer

Places for People has appointed Judy Hardy as its new Chief Risk Officer. Judy who was appointed initially on an interim basis started the role officially on 1 April 2024.  

Judy joined Places for People in 2005 and was most recently the company’s Director of Regulation. Judy brings her 18 years of experience of Places for People, the sector, and customer experience to her new role as Chief Risk Officer. She joins Places for People’s executive leadership team and will attend its Audit & Risk Committee. 

Speaking about Judy’s appointment, Greg Reed, Places for People Group Chief Executive Officer said: “I’m proud that one of our own, someone who has been with us for 18 years, is now our Chief Risk Officer. Judy’s vast experience, her knowledge of UK Housing Regulation and her relationships with our regulatory and governance stakeholders, as well as her brilliant awareness and judgment, made her the right person for this critical role.
