Introducing: Community Housing Managers

Claytonbrook (1)

Over the last month, we have been sharing with our Colleagues our aim to become a truly Community based housing association, delivering the best of PfP – our scale, resources, and mostly importantly our purpose – in a way that feels personal and local to our Customers.

As part of this journey, it felt like the right time to revisit the Housing Officer and Place Manager job titles. We felt the current titles didn’t fully capture the important work our People do, and with several variations across regions, we wanted something more aligned. So, we asked for feedback to find a title that truly reflects the role.

Two strong suggestions emerged: Housing Manager and Community Housing Manager. The focus on housing is important, as it is central to what we do to help people lead better lives. However, it’s not just about the homes – it is about how we engage with and support our Communities that makes the real difference.

With this in mind, we’re excited to announce that the new job title will be Community Housing Manager. Both "Community" and "housing" are core to what we do, and this new title better reflects the key role our People play in bringing these values to life every day.
