We have won four national industry awards this week, taking our total accolades for the year to 20.
Just a week after receiving a host of WhatHouse? Awards, we have been awarded further accolades by national trade bodies.
At the Housebuilder Awards, we won Best Regeneration Initiative for Smith’s Dock in North Shields; where 134 homes, a restaurant and garden areas have already been completed in our joint-venture partnership with Urban Splash.
We were was also Highly Commended for our work at the Smokehouses, two Simpson Haugh designed apartment buildings fronting the Smith’s Dock development.
Creating sustainable places
At the Engage Awards, we picked up a Silver award in the Best Customer Contact Strategy in a Crisis category, for our Customer Taskforce. During the first lockdown, the Taskforce contacted more than 58,000 of our customers across our six affording housing businesses, resulting in 12,500 customers receiving regular weekly check-in calls and more than 2,500 receiving additional support.
Meanwhile, at the BOC International Brilliance Awards, our Marketing and PR team were awarded Gold for our social media efforts, as well as our People First Strategy; which puts colleagues, customers and clients at the heart of everything we do. Our Internal Communications team also received a Silver award, again in recognition of our People First Strategy.
