Beyond Homes

We're going Beyond Homes

As well as helping to build the desperately needed quality homes, PfP can help Government deliver a brighter future for all.

In the run up to the General Election in 2024, we lobbied all political parties to build more social homes as part of our #TimetoBuild campaign and we are encouraged by this Government’s plans to build 1.5million new homes.

However, the housing crisis goes much further than bricks and mortar and we’re well placed to support those at the centre of it, with the issues and financial pressures they face.

Results of our annual Wellbeing Survey highlight the scale of the issues faced by our social housing Customers every day and the support needed Beyond Homes.

Barriers such as financial instability, physical and mental health difficulties, challenges in accessing employment and training, and digital exclusion are the realities of many Customers’ lives.

Our Beyond Homes campaign will look to Government in driving real positive change across housing, health and wellbeing and also helping to address skills gaps and supporting more people into work. This will be boosted by PfP Thrive - PfP’s new training movement and delivery programme seeking to tackle the UK’s trade skills crisis and boost the future workforce of the housing sector.

We are changing lives by creating, managing and supporting thriving Communities. Sometimes we will use our voice to start a conversation or a movement to create change that helps us do that. Our campaigns are informed by the expertise of our Colleagues, partners, our research, and the experiences of our Customers and Communities. We want to support the Government and society by developing evidence-based policy solutions designed to overcome barriers in our sectors. We will collaborate with others to drive change and to help build a fairer society where everyone can thrive.
