Safeguarding adults and children

Everyone has the right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect.

Abuse and neglect can occur anywhere: in your own home or a public place, while you are in hospital or attending a day centre, or in a college or care home.

Please read our Approach to Safeguarding Guide. This has information and guidance on how you can identify signs of abuse and report your concerns.

If you’re concerned about yourself or others, here are some avenues of support.
