Allocation system: We allocate houses through Key to Choice – a choice-based lettings system called EdIndex.
Registration criteria: Anyone aged 16 or over can register, and applicants with a housing need are given priority.
How to register: Download and print a form from Key to Choice, or collect a form from the City of Edinburgh Council.
Placing a bid: Adverts run for one week, with new adverts starting at 3.30pm on Fridays. You can apply for three properties per week.
Offers: When an advert ends, the applications are sorted in order of priority, and the property is offered to the first suitable applicant.
