We understand that you might be worried about the cost of living, so we want you to know that support is available to you.

Everyone’s situation will be different, but it’s important to know you're not alone. Here you'll find useful information and support during these challenging times.

The government has set up a handy Help for Households website with loads of support available to help you with the cost of living. For local welfare support, please check your local council website

Support with energy

Discover what support is available to help you with your energy bills and some top tips to reduce your energy bills.

The government's Help for Households website also offers valuable guidance to help with the rising cost of energy bills.

If your energy provider is unable to help you or you're struggling, please contact our Money Advice and Financial Inclusion Teams and we can support you.

Access to emergency food

Do you or a loved one need help feeding your family this winter? Help is available. We've partnered with various foodbanks and organisations to offer food support in your area. 

You can search for your nearest food bank on The Trussell Trust’s website. 

Please get in touch if the foodbank near you needs a referral or if you can’t find help in your area. Our Money Advice and Financial Inclusion Teams can also link into funding and grants for emergency assistance.

Stay warm this winter in warm spaces

Warm spaces are dedicated areas in public buildings that provide free heated spaces during the day. 

Warm Welcome UK also have over 3,000 registered organisations that are offering free, warm, welcoming spaces for the public this winter across the UK.
