Community matters at Places for People

At Places for People Community is more than what we do, it’s who we are.

From Community investment and volunteering to organised events and activities, we’re passionate about creating collaborative and inclusive Community experiences for all our Customers. Your needs and opinions are at the forefront of what we do, that’s why we’re creating more ways for you to get involved and tell us your thoughts on our services, policies and processes.

Supporting our Communities

At Places for People, by listening to our Customers we understand the need to feel safe and supported in your Community, especially during challenging times. We know that many people are struggling with the ongoing cost of living crisis, and this is why we have set up and supported a number of local projects to support our Communities. Including the Hays Community Pantry in Edinburgh which allows members of the Community to access healthy food and essentials at heavily discounted prices. A vital lifeline for many, users of the pantry have told us how the support within their Community has made life easier during these difficult times.
