Four Million Homes programme

A government training scheme in England

The Four Million Homes programme is a government training scheme funded by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and has been designed to help improve resident engagement and action for change in social housing. We are sharing this with you to help you understand your rights and so you can play an active role in how your home is managed.

The programme provides free accredited training sessions to residents through a series of face-to-face events, webinars, and online resources. Training sessions cover a wide range of areas including advice on getting action for damp and mould to webinars on how to complain about anti-social behaviour around your home.

Face-to-face training events

The free training events will run throughout the year and will cover a variety of topics. The face-to-face events will be delivered in Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, and London.

Online webinars and resources

Alongside the face-to-face training events, there is a wide variety of guidance and support available on the website. The monthly online live webinars will tackle common problems and how you can play a part in improving your neighbourhood and community. You’ll have a chance to directly ask experts questions on social housing matters. The great thing is you don’t need any special software, just a phone or a computer with internet access and an email account.

We encourage you to get involved and take part in the Four Million Homes programme or through our Customer Voice opportunities.
