Meeting Point Café Warm Hub - Leeds

Leeds

Location: 409 Harehills Lane, Harehills, Leeds, LS6 6AP

Over the colder winter months, we understand that many people face fuel poverty and struggle to afford heating costs. This is why we have funded a number of Warm hubs that can support people during the cost-of-living crisis.

Warm hubs provide a safe place which is warm, friendly and welcoming where attendees can partake in social activities surrounded by the company of others whilst receiving support during difficult times. They offer a lifeline for people in social isolation and those suffering with fuel poverty.

The Meeting Point Café was set up in the old Richmond Hill Circuit in 1992. True to its name, it has always been more than a café. It has been a meeting point where all sorts of people from the local community can come to eat and drink, talk and be listened to.

The Café Manager, Pauline, with her team of volunteers has built up a reputation of offering understanding, compassion and a listening ear for the many people who use the café.

For all the years it has been open, Meeting Point has continued in its work of offering friendship, care and concern to its many customers.

Open Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm
