During the cost of living crisis we understand more people need help for essential food, therefore Places for People have donated to various foodbank across the country to help our customers and other individuals in the community.
Over the colder winter months, the Foodbank will also act as a Warm hub, providing a safe place which is warm, friendly and welcoming. They offer a lifeline for people in social isolation and those suffering with fuel poverty.
The Social Café runs on Tuesday's & Thursday's providing a safe, welcoming, warm space where people can socialise, get some hot food & drinks and take part in a variety of exercises. A range of activities are offered for people to participate in, including gentle exercise classes, crafts, board games, quizzes, indoor sports (table tennis, table football, darts) and day trips.
