Big Sister helps girls aged 9-15 feel confident to take part in sport and exercise throughout puberty and beyond. Girls can access free leisure memberships at any of our 7 Sheffield & Rotherham Places Leisure Centres and take part in girl-focussed exercise classes and sessions. There are also free reusable period products and digital resource packs available to help girls take part in sport. Free training is available for sports leaders on the emotional and physical barriers girls face, and a network of ‘big sisters’ will provide 1-2-1 support to girls in each area.
