Arnold Foodbank & Warm Hub(Nottingham)

Nottingham

Location: Daybrook Baptist Church, Mansfield Road, Nottingham, NG5 6AA

During the cost of living crisis we understand more people need help for essential food, therefore Places for People have donated to various foodbank across the country to help our customers and other individuals in the community.

The foodbank provides three days of nutritionally balanced, non-perishable food and are also running a More Than Food programme. This means that they are providing additional support alongside emergency food, to help people address the underlying issues behind their crisis.

They have specifically trained volunteers who can offer you additional help in the following areas:

Eat Well Spend Less – a six-week basic cookery, nutrition and budget management course.
Holiday Club – supporting families at times when free school meals are not available by offering food and fun activities.
Money Life – providing tools and courses to tackle debt and budgeting.
Fuel Bank – supports households most in need of help by giving them funds to pay for gas and electricity alongside emergency food aid.

Over the colder winter months, the Foodbank will also act as a Warm hub, providing a safe place which is warm, friendly and welcoming. They offer a lifeline for people in social isolation and those suffering with fuel poverty.
