New procurement solutions

Procurement Hub

Procurement Hub, our free-to-join procurement consortium, has added four new solutions to its expanding offering.

The fully-OJEU compliant procurement solutions include:

  • Legal Services (Dynamic Purchasing System and Framework)
  • Property Works (Dynamic Purchasing System)
  • Waste Services (Framework)
  • Furniture and Homeware (Framework)

They join the 7 existing solutions and are aimed at helping businesses to reduce the time and hassle involved in finding high quality product and service providers.

Legal Services

The solution has been designed to reduce the time, cost and hassle of commissioning high quality legal services. The Legal Services Dynamic Purchasing System is a UK-first aimed at both public and private sector clients. It provides organisations with tailored access to legal services in areas including property, finance, employment and healthcare.

Property Works

The solution covers all manner of contractors, such as plumbers, electricians and decorators, enabling clients to meet the challenge of ongoing repairs and maintenance to their property stock. It offers value for money, as well as OJEU and Section 20 compliancy.

Furniture and Homeware

Provides organisations with OJEU compliant access to contract quality furniture and homewares, including a full consultation and interior design service. And unlike other procurement frameworks, social value is at the very heart of it. Funded entirely through contributions from the supply chain, our social value programme can help make a real difference to society.

Waste Services

Provides access to a fully integrated service, covering all forms of waste removal and recycling. The framework also takes care of all the associated paperwork, and helps organisations to reduce their environmental impact, and any waste removal cost.

Alan Heron, Head of Procurement at Places for People

"We're excited to be able to launch these new solutions under our procurement offering. They come at a time when many organisations are feeling increased pressures due to the Brexit vote - and they are well placed to support businesses to tackle the procurement challenges presented as a direct result."

The new solutions will be showcased at the CIH Housing 2017 annual conference and exhibition from 27-29 June at Manchester Central. Head of Procurement, Alan Heron, will be taking part in an ideas exchange on the theme of 'Procurement Made Simple'. Come and see the team at stand D34.
